Juan N. Doria, San Diego druggist, has just flown back from Linares, Mexico, where all the town and most of the State of Nuevo Leon turned out to honor Doria's father Manuel M. Doria, 98, a Mexican educator more than 70 years.
Doria, his wife, and a sister, Mrs. Lupe Gomez, of San Diego, saw the elder Doria feted at dedication of a school named in his honor. Also present were Ignacio Marones, governor of the State, and a score of Mexican generals, political chiefs and leaders, all of whom once were pupils of Professor Doria.
