The San Diego Union and Daily Bee, Sunday Feb 14, 1943, San Diego CA, page 4 Former S.D. Physician Succumbs in Tijuana Dr. Manuel M. Doria, 58, former San Diego physician, died of a heart attack in Tijuana Friday night. He had been a resident of this section of the state for 20 years, formerly practicing in San Diego. For several years he had conducted a sanitarium in Tijuana where he maintained his residence. He owned several San Diego apartment properties. Members of his family plan funeral services in the town of Linares, state of Nuevo Leon, Mex., where Dr. Doria was born. He leaves two children and two brothers, residents of San Diego.

Doria, 58, of Tijuana, former San Diego physician, will be held in Linares, Mexico, his birthplace. Dr. Doria died of a heart attack in Tijuana Friday night. A resident of San Diego and Tijuana 20 years, Dr. Doria was operating a sanitarium in Tijuana at the time of his death.

M. Doria, Raymond and Juan Doria of San Diego; Lindario, Delores, Rita, Lupe, Paul and Esperanza Doria, all of Mexico; a native of Mexico, aged 63 years 2 months 21 days. The body is to be forwarded today (Friday) to Linares, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, for services and interment by the Bonham, Brothers' Mortuary, Fourth and Elm Streets.
