a) Was named after a 'showgirl' in the Tennessee area named Virginia Earl.
Raised by Paul and Marie Christman, who also served as witnesses at her baptism. (Her sisters went to Eugene Christman and his wife, their aunt Nettie McManus)
Her birth certificate (was remade for her, it was lost in courthouse fire) incorrectly says that her parents were both from MS.
