Augusta, wife, age 56, married once (incorrect), was 29 at first marriage, has two children, two survive, born Germany, parents born Germany, immigrated 1880, no occupation, reads, writes.

1920 - I cannot find them on the 1920 census anywhere. I have looked all over. In fact, so far I've been unable to find their block of Menard on the census ( I watched the numbers rise from 1300's to 1700's but did not yet find the 2300's or anything. It is possible they could have been enroute to visit their daughters in California. Possible. Who knows. Maybe the census is hiding there somewhere...

Body will lie in state at Beiderwieden South Side Funeral Home, 3620 Chippewa st., until Mon. noon. Services same day 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Eighth and Soulard. Interment Concordia Cemetery.
